Timing belts, also known as toothed belts, are a type of transmission belt that uses teeth to transmit power between the driving and the driven pulleys in a precise and synchronized manner.
Unlike V-belts which rely on friction between the belt and pulleys, timing belts have teeth that fit into corresponding grooves on the pulleys, creating a positive coupling.
