Electronic overload relays

Devices used to monitor current in an electrical circuit and protect components against overload. They play an important role in preventing damage caused by excessive currents and in the safe operation of electrical systems.
Unlike motor circuit breakers that interrupt the circuit when an overload is detected, electronic overload relays are designed to continuously monitor current and send an alarm signal or shut down the circuit if an overload condition persists for a certain period of time.
They are programmable and have adjustments that allow configuring the nominal current, the permitted overload current, the response time and other protection characteristics according to the needs of the electrical system.
